|
Students will engage with multimedia content in English. They will be encouraged to express what they learned about the content through interacting with classmates.

Each week, students will engage with multimedia content such as video clips. Students will watch and listen to short clips from movies or other media. In addition, they will participate in short writing and speaking activities. The teacher will use English most of the time.

This will be a blended class with both On Line and Face to Face lessons. Every Tuesday will be On Line so do not come to the classroom. Thursdays will be Face to Face so come to the classroom and observe the proper social distancing when choosing your seat.
Week 1: Introduction to class contents, learning strategies. Make personal goals. Become familiar with classmates. Learn to use Language Center.
Week 2: Begin watching video clips. Group work based on worksheets. Vocabulary work. Small group discussions.

成績評価の方法と基準 Evaluation&criteria
|
Evaluation based on 平常点. Students will be evaluated on their active participation in class, their preparedness for activities, and output in the form of oral reports and presentations as follows: Worksheets 20%, class participation 20%, presentations 60%.

定期試験期間中の試験実施方法 Exam period
|

Students are expected to bring the necessary study materials provided by the instructor, paper and pencils to class. Students are encouraged to ask the teacher questions at any time. Students are also expected to show respect to the teacher and other students by not talking while the teacher is speaking to the class.
