1) Reading texts taken from a variety of materials and responding to those texts in writing.
2) Experiencing process writing which involves writing multiple drafts of one piece of writing.

概要 Synopsis
|
Students will be exposed to a number of different reading materials chosen from authentic texts and will have writing tasks related to the those materials. The topics will cover current events, identity, aspects of popular culture and their own experiences.
|

到達目標 Aim
|
Develop one's reading and writing ability through regular activities using a variety of materials. Learning to write IN English and not rely on translation software. Appreciate the process of revising a piece of writing through several drafts, seeing how the paper develops and improves through the student's own efforts.

授業形態 Class style
|
Level 2) Students will read materials provided through Moodle. They will respond to the reading and submit drafts multiple times through Moodle. Teacher will comment on drafts and ask for revisions.
Level 1) In addition to Level 2 activities, students will share drafts of their writing with classmates.

Students will be evaluated by their homework assignments 70%, and final paper 30%.
