Reading authentic texts at a level suitable for each student and writing about those readings.

概要
|
Students will be exposed to a number of different reading materials chosen from authentic texts and will have writing tasks related to the those materials.

到達目標
|
Develop one's reading and writing ability through regular activities inside and outside the classroom, using a vareity of materials. Learning to write IN English and not rely on translation software. Appreciate the process of revising a piece of writing.

|
演習方式 Students will come to class having read the assigned reading and ready to participate in writing and speaking exercises. Discussion will be conducted both in English and Japanese.

Students should come to class having read the assigned reading and having done the written homework. They should check vocabulary and write questions about what they do not understand.

Students will be evaluated by their homework assignments 30%, classroom activities 30%, and final project 40%.
